Nancee Tegeder began forging her own path when she graduated from high school at 16 and college at 20. She served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ukraine, where she learned to speak Russian. Following her mission, she graduated from BYU Law School. She has spent the past 18 years working in various law positions from civil litigation, to a solo practice in estate planning, to a partner at a securities law firm.

During law school, she married Troy, who also served in the same mission in Ukraine that Nancee had served. They have three children and live in Southern California. She “retired” from law last year to dabble in homeschooling with her kids during the pandemic. It was a lovely experience and she promptly sent them all back to in-person school as soon as it became available again.

In her spare time, Nancee loves being active. From snowboarding to wakeboarding. Or riding the streets on her rollerblades with her gang of middle-aged moms. She devours books, puzzles, is a wiz at the game Boggle and is mostly NEVER without chocolate.
